SunJoo Cha has run ‘Partnership ON’ program, a nonprofit accelerating program for the youth, realizing her belief that if an organization is sustainable, the vision they pursue could be realized more impactful and sustainable. She hopes innovative leaders in the nonprofit sector can pursue the challenges of change calmly and confidently. When she is distressed personally, she tries to stay calm reciting lyrics of ‘Impossible Dreams’ from ‘Man of Lamancha’.
The Asan Nanum Foundation is a public welfare foundation established in 2011 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the death of Hyundai Group founder Asan Chung Ju-yung. They run various projects in order to encourages entrepreneurship following the creative spirit of Asan under the vision ‘Those who think they can do something, they can achieve anything’. The Asan Nanum Foundation makes an effort to provide guidance and opportunity for individuals to make new challenges and ideas so that they realize great potential to move society forward with their innovative ideas.
The projects the foundation has run are ‘Youth Entrepreneurship Education’, a program for middle and high school students to find problems and solutions in their everyday lives, startup supporting scheme for discovering entrepreneurs and providing infrastructure such as training and mentorship, and growing social innovators who will be able to spread innovation in nonprofit sector.
