JungKwon Ahn focuses on the ‘process’ rather than the ‘outcome’. He is attracted to healthy organizations with mutual trust rather than those with great outcomes revealed. Based on this, he has worked for organizations that put effort to run soundly and pursue social values across profit and nonprofit area.
He is a co-founder and researcher of ‘alt.lab’ which is also one of the cooperating session organizers, trying to provide consultation and research on nonprofit organization’s sustainability. His main job among various positions is a CSO(Chief Sustainability Officer) at ‘SlowWalk’, a creative solution company based on design and IT, and also a sustainability coordinator at ‘Noeul’, an organization developing an innovative diagnosis instrument to prevent infectious diseases in developing countries. In addition, he has been evaluating labour human rights and CSR of global corporates as a social auditor.
Talking with young people regarding sustainable future through lectures and counseling is another pleasure to him and he is also excited to see young people who have passion on social innovation. He focuses more on process than outcome in his life as well, and pursues to gain respect from his nearest and dearest.
alt.lab is a nonprofit startup trying to figure out alternative principles and methods to root sustainable value in organizations. It was established in 2015 by experts in the field of CSR and sustainability, and has been doing various works such as guide and framework development for nonprofit organizations’ healthy management, advisory based on engagement, research and education. Its vision is to be a model which is healthy and excellent based on sustainability.
